I'm so excited for you to join TEXTURE! This is your first step to mastering curly hair and making your salon business more inclusive. No more having your clients leave wet or styling themselves. This class will open your eyes to so much about natural hair, everything from how to speak about curly hair, consult about curls, and how to have empathy for the generations of hair trauma that curly girls have faced in salons.

What's in it for you?

Day One:

• Two Live  Models - two different textures with the same cut, but creating different shapes. We do a big sexy round shape and we also do a heart shape depending on model's face shape.
• You will learn up close and personal styling techniques.
• Learning different curl types and how their porosity affects their hair.
• Learning how to speak about curls.
• Curly Extension tips.
• Learn the WHY we cut curly hair differently.
• How to price your appointments and how to book curly appointments. Yes, you do it differently than straight hair. 
• Product breakdown per hair type. 
• Social media tips.
• Posing tips with models.

Day Two:

• Day two we take everything we learn from day one and apply it to day two!
• You bring your own curly model and we work through the cut so you can absorb it properly. 
• The cut is complex, and the hands-on portion has been wildly successful. The classes who have not taken the hands-on wishes they would have. 
• We walk through the styling step by step from start to finish.
• You will be implementing all your social skills throughout the class as this is your opportunity to learn how to take the best shots and make content easier for you.
